Black Rock's unique and magnificent rainforest location on the banks of the Macal River in the Maya Mountains enables our guests to experience the best in outdoor activities and adventures. Black Rock activities vary from thrilling, high adventure options to tranquil and accessible choices. Activities include horseback riding, canoeing, tubing, hiking, bird watching, mountain biking, swimming, night hiking, and caving.

Tours:

In addition to Black Rock activities, we also offer guided expeditions to the splendid Mayan ruin sites of Caracol, Tikal, and Xunantunich as well as excursions to Actun Cave, Inland Blue Hole and the Mountain Pine Ridge. These fun and immersive tours provide guests with an in-depth introduction to the culture and history of the region.
