Departure Tax, PACT Fee, Airlines!

The Departure Tax, per person, to leave Belize via thePillip S.W. Goldson International Airport is US$35.00 for Non-Belizeans and US$16.25 for Belizeans. The Border Proccessing Fee (departure tax) to leave Belize via our land borders is $18.75 for Non-Belizeans. Of all the figures quoted above, US$3.75 goes towards the Park and Conservation Trust (PACT). This is a one-time fee. So if you visit Tikal, for example, you'll pay the PACT fee on the way out of Belize. Keep your reciept, present it at the International Airport on the way home, and you won't have to pay it a second time! International airlines which service Belize are Grupo Taca, Continental Airlines, American Airlines, Delta, and US Airways. National airlines found in Belize are Tropic Air and Maya Island Air.
