| CANOEING:
Beginning
just below the Lodge, the trip winds down 6 miles of the Macal
River through moderate rapids and verdant rainforest. Guests
often see large green female Iguanas and even bigger orange
male iguanas, or "Garobos", as well as Wood Rails,
Toucans, King Fishers, and Hummingbirds. Guests dock at Chaa
Creek Lodge and can choose to visit the Blue Morpho Butterfly
Center. We then pick up the guests and drive them back to
Black Rock Lodge.
**lunch and entry fees to butterfly museum not included**
