At this point in time, the Belize Canoe Association (BCAnoe) is governed by a tri-chairmanship comprised of its founders: Elvin Penner, Julian Sherrard, and Luis Garcia. The current board has been selected by the three chairmen. Our plans are to lay the groundwork for the association with regards to races, canoe fests, and Belize's participation in the internation arena of canoeing. As soon as all of these have been accomplished, we will call elections to nominate a democratically elected president an board of directors.
